The Tainan City Government grandly held the 2025 Outstanding Green Procurement Enterprise Awards Ceremony on December 18, 2025. Through its long-term commitment to building a green supply chain and achieving outstanding environmental performance, Revival Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. once again stood out among participating enterprises, earning this prestigious honor for the sixth consecutive year. This achievement highlights the company’s unwavering dedication to sustainable development.

The Taichung City Environmental Protection Bureau has invested NT$130 million this year to promote the “Municipal Waste Sorting and Baling Project.” The initiative compresses and bales the waste temporarily stored at the Dali Landfill, effectively reducing its volume while minimizing environmental impacts such as odor and litter dispersal. Once the incineration facilities are upgraded, the baled waste will be gradually transported to the incineration plants for processing.

Tainan City generates about 1,800 tons of garbage daily, but the existing processing capacity is insufficient. With only two incineration plants available, 450 tons of waste remain unprocessed each day. Over time, this has led to a significant waste management crisis, with 300,000 tons of accumulated garbage piling up like a small mountain. It is estimated that it will take 20 years to incinerate all of this waste.

The Huxi temporary waste transfer station in Douliu currently holds nearly 20,000 tons of garbage, with the bottom layers having been piled up for over two years. To address the waste issue, the Douliu City Office has secured funding from the Yunlin County Government for a waste-packing solution. This involves crushing and compressing the waste, then wrapping it in layers of specially designed combustible film to contain odors and reduce the space needed for temporary storage. The goal is to maintain environmental hygiene and alleviate the problems caused by the garbage mountain for nearby residents.

This has severely impacted the surrounding environment and the quality of life in nearby Citong Township. To resolve the crisis, the Douliu City Office secured funding from the Yunlin County Government to pack and seal the accumulated waste, preventing odors and wastewater from further polluting the environment. So far, 7,000 tons of garbage have been packed, with 4,000 tons still on-site. However, when incinerators in other counties undergo maintenance or experience malfunctions, waste management becomes difficult. Currently, more than 60,000 tons of garbage are piled up across the county, with over 20,000 tons in Xiluo alone, causing a public outcry. The Yunlin County government has launched a waste-packing initiative today to mitigate the odor and address the lack of storage space.

Nantou County does not have its own waste incineration plant, so most of the garbage is sent to the Taichung City incineration plant for disposal. However, in recent years, the Taichung incineration plant has been shut down for annual maintenance, leaving Nantou County with no place to send its waste. As a result, garbage has piled up into mountains, with some areas even seeing "garbage waterfalls." The county government is urging the central authorities to assist with waste management and plan for the construction of an incineration plant to resolve the growing waste problem.

The "garbage mountain," weighing over 12,000 tons in the Nantou City waste disposal site, has finally disappeared! Through the joint efforts of the County Environmental Protection Bureau and the local sanitation team, along with the waste packaging team from Revival Environmental Industrial Co., Ltd., a "garbage packaging" project was carried out over approximately two months. Today, the project has been successfully completed, making the massive pile of waste vanish as if by magic!

The Hong Kong YMCA University Youth Association (Hang Seng University of Hong Kong) Taiwan Sustainable Development Study and Service Group visited Taiwan in January 2025. On January 6, they made a special visit to the Revival Group. The purpose of this visit was to understand the company’s entrepreneurial journey and its advancements in the field of waste recycling and reuse. During the seminar, we shared the challenges we have faced in practicing corporate social responsibility and our vision for future development.

Revival Environmental Industrial Co., has introduced Taiwan's first mobile high-performance construction waste treatment equipment of Austrian origin. In early November 2024, team members and original factory technicians conducted a week-long operation test and training phase.

On March 12, 2023 (Sunday), Revival Environmental Industrial Co., Ltd. held its 8th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service at the Dubai International Banquet Hall of the Tainan Guizhen Hotel. The event celebrated God's wonderful grace through worship, praise, testimony sharing, preaching, and the blessings, encouragement, and intercessory prayer from our guests.
