Guarding Our Youth: Revival Environmental Industry Partners with School Play Tour to Fight Drug Abuse

Shadow of Drugs Behind Random Attacks: Anti-Drug Theater Hits Schools

March 10, 2026, 12:05 | By Reporter Wang Chun-chung, Tainan

On the evening of February 3 this year, a random attack occurred in Tainan City where a man armed with a file injured two pedestrians. Li Po-Li, CEO of the Blessed Taiwan Association, pointed out that suspects in such cases—including last year’s random stabbing in Miaoli and the harrowing "Little Light Bulb" incident a decade ago—often have histories of drug abuse. In response, he has proposed three core strategies for drug prevention and initiated a campus tour of anti-drug educational stage plays.

Li stated that "criminal records of drug use" and "social isolation" are the common shadows lurking behind random attacks. In 2025, the Blessed Taiwan Association launched an anti-drug theater tour. Its flagship production, The Hero’s Choice, blends popular superhero themes to show children through a 40-minute performance how peer pressure can erode a "hero’s" original intentions, teaching them to identify temptations.

This morning, Li joined Tainan City Councilor Tseng Chih-chieh to bring the anti-drug theater tour to Chongxue Elementary School in Tainan’s East District. The performance helped students understand the dire consequences of drug use and internalize the courage to say no.

Beyond campus tours, Li urged the government to take a proactive approach to drug prevention. He advocated for three fundamental pillars: "strengthening parenting education," "promoting benevolent governance," and "declaring a total war on drugs." Queelin Wu, Chairman of Revival Environmental Industrial Group and a father of two homeschooled children, added poignantly, "It takes a village to save a child." He pledged that the business community will continue to provide resources to support vulnerable youth and drug prevention initiatives.
